In July 2012, Spectrum Health presented The Transplant Games of America in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The games are a biennial, multi-sport festival for individuals who have undergone life saving transplant surgeries. Crosby Associates created the game’s distinct symbol with overlapping graphic elements representing the donor and the recipient, and underscored it with the rapids of the Grand River. The symbol and visual motif were applied to hundreds of items from clothing and gifts to street graphics and event venues.
