University of Chicago Graham School
The Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies extends the University’s academic values to a wide community of adult learners. It enrolls about 6,000 students annually. However, their recognition was poor, enrollment had become static, and their student population was aging. Crosby Associates’ role was to build greater awareness and understanding of the school; maintain the current student population and the gravitas that is the University of Chicago; and attract new and younger audiences. We created a new, bolder visual identifier, a livelier more consistent visual style, and new messaging that supported the school’s brand attributes. We then converted all of the school’s basic business materials, advertising and marketing materials, signage, websites, and online communications to align with this serious and analytical but more clever and human direction.
